Excerpt review of "Down In Tears" from "Fallen Angel":

"WBC provided a song that highlights [their] unique style and experimental sound. This song is executed with a focused use of sectional definition, in addition to expressive dynamic phrasing. The passionately energetic performances of each member adds depth and weight to the overall presentation. Throughout the vocals are performed with palpable emotion and a strong sense of individuality, these traits infuse and enhance the lyrics and their subject matter..." - Taxi - The World's Leading Independent A&R Company

"Fallen Angel" review from RockinPA.com:

"Wheeling Bitch Circus describe their style as "aggressive and melodic heavy metal", and after one listen to their album, I think you'll understand why! The band's three-guitar punch ensures a consistently full sound, even during Nate's awe-inspiring guitar leads and solos. WBC's grooves are tight and their songwriting highly polished, and Al's vocals range from highly melodic to throat-annihilating screaming. This is heavy metal the way it should be played!" - Andy Myers

French review of "Fallen Angel" from heavylaw.com:

"Wheeling Bitch Circus est un de ces groupes qui ne profitent pas d'une production digne de ce nom et pourtant leur talent de composition est d'un incroyable professionnalisme et la musique des américains est assez originales...il leur manque plus qu'une vraie prod et le tour est joué..." - Duck
very bad translation from Google:
"Wheeling Bitch Circus is one of these groups which do not benefit from a production worthy of this name and yet their talent of composition is of an incredible professionalism and of American more are rather original… it they misses the music than one true prod and the turn is played…"

Review of Louder Harder Faster from HARM Magazine/666metal.com:

"Friday, 6:00pm, The weekend kicks off and Tgod was front and center. A Pennsylvania band called WHEELING BITCH CIRCUS kicked the party off. It was a good start. They were loud and fast. The new form of 'speed' that has emerged. Speed without the leather and spikes. Good, loud, fast Rock'N'Roll! See, the Pennsylvanians only suck behind the wheel on route 78." - Tgod

Reviews from HardRockHaven.net, first of the "Louder Harder Faster" metalfest:

"Another of the young bands was the Wheeling Bitch Circus, who was led by a lab coat-wearing freak named Al Eustace, and his band, which included three guitarists! The lead axe-man is an animal named Nate DiDonato who WBC rhythm guitarist Steve Romano described as having “taken lessons, and damn did it pay off.” Steve, I’d have to agree with you, young buck." - Matthew Hoffman

Another from HardRockHaven.net, regarding our "Fallen Angel" promo demo disc:

"Self promoted as “aggressive” melodic heavy metal, Wheeling Bitch Circus has a unique sound. There are elements of everything metal you could imagine. The first song “Time Race Of Spirits” starts out nicely with clean acoustic guitars then a powerful metal guitar rhythm section, and finally Nate DiDonato makes his presence felt with a choice solo.

Another change of pace song is the second track “Noir” where beautiful acoustic guitars meet an abrupt yet very welcome powerfully melodic solo. “Clandestiny” is the album’s best track and has a Black Sabbath meets Rush type feel to it, complete with a uniquely inspiring power solo and speedy fretwork following a nice clean bass guitar line.

Front man Al Eustace has a nice clean metal voice as seen on “Noir” and “Clandestiny.” At times though, he struggles with the stark tempo changes that include a constant need to jump from singing to screaming. One hopes the band chooses a type of metal and runs with it though, as too much diversity is where the vocals get into trouble. The drums and bass are solid throughout and lead the hard charging legions of guitars towards a truly unique metal orchestra.

The highlight here is definitely the guitars, where DiDonato laces all the tracks with expert lead and solo work over an array of delicious riffs from Romano and Grill. The band has tremendous potential and with proper management should only get better and better. An excellent performance at the Louder Harder Faster Festival June 3rd should get them some more quality exposure. Bottom line is this is a good demo from a solid band, so watch out for their upcoming album Fallen Angel.

Band Members: Al Eustace-Vocals, Nate DiDonato-Lead Guitar, Steve Romano-Guitars, Matt Grill-Guitars, Andy Barndt-Bass Guitar, John Rowe-Drums

Track Listing: Time Race of Spirits – Noir - Down In Tears - Hell’s Lament – Clandestiny - Gumpaz of Egypt

HRH Rating: 7.5/10" - Matthew Hoffman

Review of WBC's self-titled album:

"Wheeling Bitch Circus. Just flat out metal. Not metal like Eighteen Visions or Lamb of God. I'm talking just straight up rock-n-roll metal with really crazy, singy vocals. There really aren't a lot of bands around (that I know of) that are like this, so it's quite refreshing, although the recording could have been better. Sixteen tracks totalling almost an hour, with ballads and solos flying around everywhere. Manifest and Goodbye Touch From Heaven are probably the best tracks, Banging a Doctor Chick has lots of vocal effects (which the song would be a lot better without), and Confinement's End is just...... metal. If you find this, buy it."
